Being in the dog day care industry it is crucial to know what to do in case of an emergency. J Linn is a trusted client of ours so we asked her to teach the CPR training to our staff. About a month ago a staff member came running to me holding one of our day care dogs in her arms, he was lifeless with a faint heartbeat and not breathing. I immediately began mouth to snout and after a few breaths his eyes were moving around and he started wheezing, but at least he was breathing! I realized his needs were past what we could do for him so I rushed him to the vet. There he was stabilized, had some tests done and was sent home. Turns out he had a seizure caused by an enlarged heart. But he’s back at day care and is as happy and healthy than ever! Without J Linn’s skills and expertise in teaching the hands-on CPR training class I wouldn’t have known what to do.
Thank you so much J Linn!!!

“Kenzie started working with J Linn approximately 3 years ago, when she began to show signs of arthritis and other age related concerns. Since then her need for anti-inflammatory medications has dramatically decreased. Kenzie has been able to remain very active well into her senior years. She is currently 14+ years young! Though Kenzie by nature, is not much of a water dog, J Linn keeps her feeling comfortable and secure in the pool and provides feedback for massage and stretches to be done at home in between sessions. Kenzie’s mom considers J Linn a very integral part of Kenzie’s overall health and wellness. We are extremely grateful for you and all that you do!”

For the past two years I have been seeing J Linn for regular massage. I have several chronic problems that she has successfully treated. She has a large repertoire of techniques and is always able to ‘intuit’ what I need at a given time. She is a true healer.”

My greatest appreciation while receiving bodywork from J Linn is her flow of energy which ultimately transpires through her touch. J Linn has a wonderful variety she incorporates into her massage. Always addressing your needs & leaving you feeling special!”

Dear J,
My Mom and I wanted to write this and tell you and everyone how much we appreciate the love and support you’ve given us throughout the past few years. Your healing talents are extraordinary! You have found your niche’ in life when you incorporated your wonderful “human” massage and Reiki talents into animal care. And now water therapy!! Woohoo!! I’m loving it!
You see, since I am an old chocolate lab whose had my share of medical problems, I still feel like a puppy thanks to your massages, Reiki, and water therapy that we’ve done. Having a history of aspiration pneumonia, I really like that I can swim while wearing a life preserver in the pool so I won’t choke on the water. I think Willow (the cat) is a bit jealous that she hasn’t gotten to come swim in the pool, but she sure loved the energy treatments I got at home…I think she got some of it too when she calmly laid on my paws while you were working on me.
So Thank you!!!! Mom and I owe much health in your honor. Mom’s neck is soooo much better thanks to you too!
See you in the water!!”

My dog, McKinsey has pinched nerves in her back. so I began looking for answers to help reduce McKinsey’s pain, inflammation and stiffness. My bottom line objective was to make her comfortable and live without pain. I wanted to find a way for McKinsey to continue to enjoy life and stay active.
J Linn was highly recommended. I had already been to two other water therapists in the area. Once J Linn started working on McKinsey, I knew that J Linn was knowledgeable and knew what to do. She identified the problem spots on McKinsey’s back and started relieving McKinsey’s pains immediately.
J Linn works with her clients as a team. Her objective is to enhance the healing process with home therapy programs. Sharing her knowledge has given me tools to maintain McKinsey’s well being at home.
The “hands on healing” has been a bonus for both McKinsey and me as well. I get so much joy from touching and massaging my furry best friend. And, McKinsey doesn’t seem to mind a bit.

Our German Shepherd, Duke, started showing signs of hip dysplasia in his left hip about 4 years ago. His usual mile long walks turned into 6 blocks and then a few blocks. 2 1/2 years ago, we decided to give hydrotherapy a try not having much to lose since it seemed that Duke was aging faster and slowing down too quickly.
We called SplashDog… His therapist, J Linn, immediately found his sore and tight muscles and joints and worked him over between laps. The look on his face was the same look that’s on my wife’s face after a massage. The result was a revived new dog. Old Duke was gone and within a couple weeks we were back to 6 blocks on the walk and we even had several neighbors and passing cars pull over to tell us he looked and walked so much better.
J Linn is also extremely knowledgeable and active in the Seattle canine community. But it’s not really my opinion of her that matters….it’s Duke’s. Thank you J Linn.

I recently attended a canine CPR class, taught by J Linn. I had been a bit skeptical about what I could really learn and be able to apply in one class, but I was very surprised! I not only learned canine CPR, but very important first aid skills. As a pet owner, I personally feel responsible to learn about canine CPR and first aid. The information was presented in a clear, practical way and I left feeling that if I was faced with an emergency, I would know what to do.
I highly recommend this course for anybody that has the best interest of their canine friends at heart.

Two of my dogs have received massage therapy from J Linn. My sweet Tully Girl started her massages with J Linn in the late fall of 2005. We either went to J Linn’s place of business or she came to our home. Over the 4 years that J Linn treated Tully she learned all of Tully’s signs-when to give her a break, when to keep pushing (even with a little growl from the girl!) and Tully remained mobile and had a better quality of life with her twice monthly massages.
My little Oliver who was kept in a pet store for two of his first four months and not fed enough has crooked front legs. Even as a little pup he would be still for a massage from J Linn! Our rating: Five out of five paws!
